MEET YOUR COACH
Rachael Marie Piunno
I bought my first gym membership at 29 years old with a goal of losing 30 pounds—never having worked out before and no clue where to start. That one decision changed everything. I discovered a passion for fitness and nutrition that would shape my entire life.
Since then, I’ve competed in nationally ranked bodybuilding shows, coached marathon runners, cycled across Oahu, and helped countless women build strength through fitness and nutrition. My love for lifting heavy and fueling my body properly led me to become a certified personal trainer, nutrition coach, strength coach, cycle instructor, yoga teacher, and group fitness leader. Most recently, I earned certifications in Pregnancy/Postpartum & Peri/Menopause coaching.
As a new mom in my 40s, I know how challenging it can be to find balance between fitness, health, and daily life. That’s why I founded Active Balance—to help women like you feel strong, confident, and capable through personalized coaching that fits your lifestyle.
Fitness and nutrition aren’t about following the latest trends or restrictive diets—they’re about understanding your body and making choices that support your goals. I believe in science-backed training plans, sustainable nutrition practices, and building strength from the inside out. No gimmicks. No “low-fat” lies. Just what works.
Whether you're an athlete, a busy mom, or someone looking to reclaim your strength, I’m here to guide you every step of the way. Let’s build your active balance together!
